Iain Dewsnap founded RED in 2005 and from its inception, until August 2011 served as CEO. Iain is the majority owner of RED.In August 2011 Iain assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. As Chairman, Iain is deeply involved in determining the strategic direction for the company. Iain is also the Chairman of the Board and majority owner of RED Micro Wire – a Singapore corporation that produces semiconductor bonding wire using a revolutionary new technology. Iain Dewsnap has worked in the semiconductor industry since 1995. Prior to forming RED, he held various management and sales positions with AG Semiconductor and Siemens Semiconductor.Iain holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Leeds Metropolitan University.
Shimon Dahan has more than 25 years’ experience in various executive positions within the Semiconductor industry. These include Senior VP of Worldwide Operations at TowerJazz Semiconductor - with responsibility for manufacturing, purchasing, test, facilities, IT and quality assurance for all three Fabs. Since leaving Tower in 2009, Shimon worked in various consulting positions with SDC and DS2 – advising start up technology companies and helping to commercialize innovative new products. Shimon holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Haifa, and a MBA from the University of Derby,UK.
